GENERAL: The S-27 is the culmination of the testing and racing of the
Morgan-27 and it will be offered as a fixed keel and shoal draft swing-keel
model. The high-aspect rig and sail plan will offer greater stability,
acceleration and controlwithout paying too much penalty under the M.O.R.C.
rules. Designed and built as a superior race/cruiser, she will provide top
performance and comfort for her skpper.
Tomorrow's racing standards and today's desire for comfort and luxury
have everything to do with the new S-27.
The evolutionary S-27 has a cabin plan that changes when you do....
Go forward and you'll see the most practical usage of space available on
any boat this size the extra spacious head is designed with a floor drain
and shower seat. Hanging lockers and extra storage space forward instead of
conventional berths provide a dressing room, sail storage and reduces
undesirable bow weight. The practicality of this arrangement creates more
privacy (the head is not right next to the sleeping area), more space and
less bow weight. Two large single berths aft and a large single berth and
a double berth in the main salon provide ample room to sleep five adults. The
galley provides two working areas -- the stainless steel sink is located
starboard and the stove is on the port side. Plenty of storage and bifold
navigation table allows for maximum usage of the galley area.
