For those of you with swing keel pin problems, Mike Warchol was kind enough to scan in a drawing of the swing keel pin from his copy of the Chrysler Owner's Manual. Click on the link below to see the drawing.
For those of you with rudder problems, Raleigh Martin was kind enough to create a drawing of the rudder, rudder assembly, and rudder post. Click on the link below to see the drawings.
I've taken the time to scan an
old copy of the original Chrysler 22 Owner's Manual, graciously donated by
Dan Kehoe. This manual includes all sorts of helpful information for C-22
owners. I attempted to maintain the original look and feel of this document
as much as possible. Consequently, the manual looks better printed out than
it does on screen.
The drawings and equipment lists comprising the manual were too time
consuming to convert to .html format, so they were simply scanned and saved
as .gif files. For your benefit, I've included the page numbers, descriptions,
and file sizes. To view the individual pages of the manual, simply click on
the descriptions in the table below.
Please keep in mind that these .gif files are fairly large, so be patient
while they are loading.
Hopefully, this manual will come in handy for you, as it contains a great deal of information regarding the contents of the original boat as well as the intended rigging and tuning for the C-22. Enjoy!
